Penn 1681 Vodka is a rye-forward vodka, made with a base of organic Pennsylvania rye. It was created to pay homage to the grain’s important role in Pennsylvania’s history - our home state. By the mid 18th century, rye was one of the most important crops grown in the state, and rye whiskey made in Pennsylvania during this time was so distinctive, it became known as Pennsylvania- or Monongahela-Style Rye Whiskey.
Tasting Notes: Rye adds a rich, chocolatey character to our otherwise clean and crisp vodka that provides for smooth easy drinking at 80 proof.
